Welcome to the 4th edition of the Great Moms Think Alike blog hop!
Presented by Fresh Mom and The Unexpected Mother!!
As moms, we don’t always have the same approach to every child-rearing situation but we all have one main thing in common: the love and bond we have with our children. The goal of the Great Moms Think Alike blog hop is to link up as many Mommy Bloggers out there as possible! To learn is to grow; and what better way to grow than to meet other mothers out there and share our stories of parenting together!
Each Wednesday, along with our blog hop, we will post a writing prompt to use as inspiration for your post that day. We all know how frustrating writers block can be and there is no better way to get over that slump than with a little inspiration!
All we ask is that you link back to our blog hop in your post! We’re not going to give you a numbered list of rules. We don’t like them and it is a safe bet that you don’t either. We’ve made it really easy for you to link back to our blog hop by using the code given below. Just copy and paste into your post (make sure you are in the HTML editor and not the WYSIWYG editor) and voila- you are good to go!
February 16th Writing Prompt:
- How do you feel about the ‘cry it out’ method? Is this something you practice(d) in your household with your children? What methods did/do you use to foster a better sleeping pattern in your infants or toddlers?
Link up below so we can all visit your blog! Be sure to leave a comment on the blogs you visit so they know you have been there!
Thanks for hopping with us!

Thanks for hosting! I wrote a huge post about this a couple of months ago, so I’m just going to add the button to my post for today. For us, crying it out is the only way to go. I’m a new follower.

Hi Heather! Thanks for linking up and thank you for adding your post! My 2 year old goes through phases where he wakes up in the middle of the night fussing for no other reason than he is rotten to the core and wants to be held. I still struggle with the ‘cry it out’ method, so I love to hear other mothers opinions about it! Thank you for stopping by! Hope to see you back soon!
I just blogged about sleep problems we’re having with our 8 month old. I personally can’t listen to her scream, I’ve used the cry it out method before and it would work here and there when she was younger. Since then, she’s learned how to use her lungs to full capacity and it just sounds too awful for me to let her carry on for more than 20 minutes. Please read my post and leave comments and suggestions!

Found you from another blog hop and just wanted to stop by and say hi. Can’t wait to check out the other blogs in this blog hop.
I just linked up to the blog hop and I’m so tired from the non-sleeping that I just put my name instead of my blog name. How cool am I?? I hope everyone gets some sleep soon!
Aww… Christine! I completely understand about the lack of sleep! It’ll make you do crazy things! I hope you got some sleep last night dear! Thanks for hopping by!
